1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, publishing a Verto, or responding to one, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. The service
VertoNow ("Verto") lets creators build and publish interactive surveys, and lets respondents answer them at a public link. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Creator accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for the content of the Vertos you publish, including making sure any consent text, questions, or media you include comply with applicable law.
- You may not use the service to collect personal data unlawfully, or to target, harass, or discriminate against respondents.
4. Respondents
Responding to a Verto is voluntary. Where a Verto asks for personal information, you'll see a clear consent step before the first question and can decline at any time. You're responsible for the accuracy of the answers you choose to provide.
5. Content and ownership
- Creators retain ownership of the questions, branding, and media they upload to their Vertos.
- Respondents retain ownership of any free-text, audio, or photo answers they submit, and grant the creator a licence to use those answers for the purpose the Verto was run for.
- If we discover any submitted image was collected unintentionally (e.g. containing an identifiable face where that wasn't the Verto's purpose), we will delete it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to collect sensitive personal data without a lawful basis and clear consent;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- Publish a Verto that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights.
7. Data protection
How we collect, use, and protect personal data — including cookies and analytics — is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
8. Disclaimers and liability
